✨💼US-Ghana Business Expo 2023
SFAN was invited by the US Embassy to join the maiden US-Ghana Business Expo at Labadi beach hotel. And I had the pleasure of speaking on the Intellectual Property panel themed “Leveraging Intellectual Property Rights to Grow the Creative Economy.”
The panel shed light on how creatives can grow their crafts with IPR and the roadblocks that must be addressed.
Estimates suggest the global creative economy is worth $2.2 trillion. And the creative sector provides over 30 million jobs worldwide and employs more young people aged 15-29 than any other industry. A robust IPR framework will help propel Ghana and Africa’s creative economy. Watch a recap of his contributions.
