This is a dream come true for me.
I’ve pinched myself several times to be sure it’s real, and it is, MY PICTURE & COMPANY WAS DISPLAYED AT NY TIMES SQAURE🥹
A kid from a small village in Nigeria, came to Ghana for continuing education, motivated to plug the youth unemployment gap, and now making the news in America. That’s surreal!
When I started SFAN at my second experience of a university education (after many years of working in a retail business) a well-respected lecturer said it was a waste of time.
He said I might not graduate the course.
I told him I’d graduate with honors.
He laughed me out of his office…
He said people like me don’t graduate with a first class.
I’d NEVER forget that comment.
I’d never forget how insignificant it made me feel.
I did graduate with a First Class while still building the company.
Fast forward: That so-called distraction has raised the highest pre-seed funding by an education startup in Ghana and has made the news at Times Square!🥰
You see, NOBODY can or should define your limits!
And I hope that my work and life will continue to serve as a tiny spark of inspiration for young dreamers across the continent.
