⚡️What We Shipped, Community Leadership Award, Insights, and More
A roundup of what we've been up to recently.
Just like that, we’re in June—six months into the year!
A few weeks ago, I received feedback from the Guinness World Records team regarding my attempt.
It wasn’t the straightforward approval I expected:
“We are writing to you with reference to your record application for Longest interviewing marathon. Your application is missing required evidence to support your claim and has been reopened to allow the submission of further evidence. The record guidelines contain a list of all evidence required for us to confirm this record. Please read through the guidelines and make sure to upload all of the required evidence. We will not be able to confirm any record unless the required evidence has been provided.”
The problem is the day 1/2 live stream recording, which YouTube blocked because it was over 29 hours.
YouTube allows up to 12 hours of content for standard uploads without verification. Unfortunately, my media guy was unaware of that policy at the time.
I am considering running it back. So please stay tuned. I will come back next month with a decision.
👨🏿💻What We Shipped Recently
We've been refining the ReadyforWork platform to align with our strategic partners' recommendations. As our goal this year is consolidation, we started by enhancing the UI of the ReadyforWork pages for a seamless experience.
UI Updates:

We improved the homepage, adding new sections to highlight our USP and help visitors quickly grasp our target audience.
The old website had a subdomain for the education page (https://university.readyforwork.africa).
We merged that, removing the subdomain to reflect the platform’s long-term goal: https://readyforwork.africa/education.
We’re launching a new course, The AI-Augmented Professional.
I will tell you more when the course launches. Make your reservation OR reach out for partnerships.
We improved login options for students, coaches, and employers on https://readyforwork.africa/education/auth/login.
We also fixed login with Google and routed it to their respective roles (student, coach, employer) on the dashboard.
UX Updates:
🔥Mainframe improvements:
Optimised Career Readiness index for learners.
The improved career traction system now ensures students can better understand their competitive advantages.
We improved coaching meeting tracking and students’ deficiency functionalities.
Career Readiness Snapshot gives students an enhanced visual representation of their learning journey with AI.
📚Improvements in the classroom section:
Improved the UI and added a call to action for the AI-Augmented Professional course.
The course viewing page now has a fresh and improved look.
Added a program schedule selection system, where courses are provided based on the week selected by the student.
Improved lesson feedback system helps us track essential metrics for each lesson and feed that data to the AI system for analysis.
Optimized each lesson medium page. Hence, audio, video, PDF, or live session format pages also have a fresh look.
Students can now give reviews about a lesson there.
👥Improvements on the coaching page:
The navigation is now easier, and students can make a selection based on the track and filter the paid and free coaches.
Upcoming: Payment integration for paid coaches.
The major update about the coach tab is on the coach profile page.
Students now have better and precise information about a coach and also get to see reviews given to the coach by mentees.
Students can also see the cost of subscribing to paid coaches (billed monthly or yearly).
